Scientific Staff (post doc) at the Department of Demography
The Department of Demography, a subunit of the Faculty of Social Sciences, is looking for a post doc who will be part of the FWF grant team LATEFERT “Later Fertility in Europe” (PI: Eva Beaujouan, https://fertilitychange.wordpress.com/).
The post doc, preferably with a Demography or Human Reproduction background, will particularly focus on the analysis of late fertility in Austria and Europe. Excellent quantitative skills as well as experience in analysis of demographic and social surveys (e.g. Generations and Gender Surveys) are a clear advantage.
Applicants should demonstrate teamwork and interpersonal skills, autonomy, as well as enthusiasm for excellent research. The person will have the opportunity to conduct scientific research in a motivated and committed research team. The duties also include participation in project administration.
Start date: as soon as possible
Duration of employment: until 30.06.2023
Extent of Employment: 40 hours/week
