 In a WU blog report about internships for refugees, Dirar Alshwikh Alabd, former intern at the Research Institute for Human Capital and Development, is featured.

The WU internships for refugees are targeted at academically educated refugees in the fields of economics, social sciences, or other suitable academic disciplines and meant to assist their sustainable integration in the Austrian labor market. Dirar joined the WiC from March to May 2017 to support the project "Displaced Persons in Austria Survey (DiPAS)".
