Sara Fürnkranz joined the Vienna Institute of Demography (VID) in 2025 as a Student Assistant. She is working in the project FLIN „Families and inequality in a flexible world of work” as part of the Family and Labour Market research group led by Caroline Berghammer. Sara attained a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is on track of completing her Bachelor’s degree in Statistics at the University of Vienna. The primary focus of her current work at VID is to explore the relationship between parenthood and changing values of work and leisure using large-scale survey data.
