Claudia Reiter joined the Wittgenstein Centre in July 2018 as a Research Assistant in the World Population (POP) Program at IIASA. Since January 2020 she has been working as Pre-doctoral Research Assistant at the Department of Demography at the University of Vienna. Her research focuses on multidimensional demographic modelling related to education and (skills-adjusted) human capital. She is further interested in demographic aspects of human well-being and the interrelation between environmental change and population dynamics.
Previous to joining the Wittgenstein Centre, Ms. Reiter contributed to research projects at the Institute for Public Sector Economics at WU. She holds a Master's of Science in Socio-ecological Economics and Policy from WU and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (University of Vienna) and International Management (University of Applied Science FH JOANNEUM). She has also completed parts of her studies at the University of Santiago de Chile.
