About

Inge Spiegeler is a researcher in the Multidimensional Demographic Modeling (MDM) Research Group of the Population and Just Societies Program (POPJUS) at IIASA. She holds a MSc degree in Global Demography from the University of Vienna.

At IIASA, she is currently working on the demography of education and skills in the Link4Skills project and on the analysis of the population situation analysis in Mozambique. She has also contributed to the PREMIUM_EU project, which explores the demographic and labor force effects of migration.

Prior to joining IIASA, she worked at the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees, where she focused on legal migration and EU directives. During that time, she led an IT project on the digitalization of intra- EU mobility processes. She also completed a Carlo Schmid Fellowship at the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington D.C., where he supported the German Director in the Office of the Executive Director.
